At the Commodore Hotel we believe that every wedding is unique, that is why we have a dedicated wedding co-ordinator on hand from the start to help you plan every aspect of your day, leaving you and your partner free to relax and enjoy your special day. By, "your special day" we mean it; in order that we can focus all the necessary attention, we only allow one bride per day in the hotel.
Whether you'd like an intimate gathering, a civil ceremony or a traditional wedding breakfast the Commodore Hotel is the perfect venue. from our lavishly appointed ballroom which can cater for up to 160 guests for a sit down banquet to the cedar room which is suitable for up to 45 people, we can offer an environment of unassuming elegance, relaxation and sophistication.
My Husband and I got married on 23rd June 2007, and the reception and evening reception were held at the hotel. We had a wonderful day and the staff were helpful and friendly.
The food was amazing, very well cooked and prepared to a high standard. We chose the fork buffet for our evening reception which was also fantastic. There was a good selection and plenty of food for everyone.
The whole day was wonderful and it was a shame when the day was over.
I would recommend the Commodore Hotel to anyone planning to get married. We had a lovely relaxing day as all the hard work was done behind the scenes by the staff on the day.
