At the commodore hotel we believe that every event is unique, that is why we have a dedicated co-ordinator on hand from the start to help you plan every aspect of your function. Leaving you and your guests free to relax and enjoy your event.

Whether you’d like an intimate gathering, a civilised luncheon or a wild party the commodore hotel is the perfect venue. from our lavishly appointed air conditioned Mahogany Function Suite which can cater for up to 160 guests for a sit down banquet or 200 for a buffet, to the cedar room which is suitable for up to 45 people, we can offer an environment of unassuming elegance, relaxation and sophistication.

We can also help with extra aspects of your event such as; floristry, chair covers, entertainment, photography, chocolate fountains, car hire. Just ask a member of our sales team who will be happy to help with your enquiry. 

The Welsh Charitables RFC have been holding there Annual Sportsman’s Dinners in conjunction with the Mayor of Torfaen and our own Annual Vice Presidents Dinners since December 2000.

The reason we still have our dinners at the Commodore Hotel is the warm  Welcome, the service one receives and above all the standard of food.  I can honestly say I have had one complaint since organizing the Dinners and that was a customer complaining that there was too much to eat.

I think in itself that is a tremendous testimony of the service one can expect at the Commodore Hotel.
